Christopher James Director at Ignite Performing Arts

CHRISTOPHER JAMES

PRESIDENT // DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Christopher began his creative journey playing music.  Guitar, Drums, Harmonica, Keys, and anything else he could get his hands on. While music is his first love, acting and dance have quickly become passions as well.

His acting career began with a bang when he was thrown into a show 2 days before Opening Night.  He learned his lines in less than a day and learned his blocking during his costume fitting at the final dress rehearsal.  And he's never looked back...

When he's not teaching or performing, you'll more than likely find him on his surfboard in the middle of the ocean.

Pat Stage Manager at Ignite Performing Arts

PAT YOEST

SECRETARY // ART SUPERVISOR

Pat found her niche in performing arts when she joined Sweet Adelines in her hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. She has competed internationally and has performed at such prestigious arena's such as the Royal Albert Hall in London, England.  Upon moving to Colorado, she missed singing so much, she founded and directed a Sweet Adelines chapter in Vail, where she took on many roles on and off-stage. This set her up beautifully for when her daughter was born and also dove head-first into performing arts.  As a backstage mom, Pat worked in every aspect of live theater including stage managing, costumes, props, administration, and so much more.  As her daughter advanced in her career and love for the arts, Pat continued to grow with her, bringing her daughter's extravagant visions to life and making things happen - a skillset she excels in to this day.   While she tends to stay behind-the-scenes, she graces our stage for a cameo appearance every now and again.

LISA ARONSON

DIRECTOR

Lisa Aronson serves as the Director of Youth Ministries for First United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg, PA.

She first felt the call to serve the Lord in youth ministry after her first year of college. She was pursuing an education in politics in hopes to help make positive change to our society, but changed her major and began studying youth ministry after a summer working with a local youth group.  God challenged her to not change society, which will not last into eternity, but instead to invest in those who will last into eternity and who can create change themselves.  She also piloted and managed the Christian-based Café 222 at the West Essex Baptist Church in Caldwell, NJ where she and Teri Lea met. Young adults could gather on weekends for food, drinks and live musical entertainment, as well as fun and fellowship in a safe, clean environment.  Lisa also served as an intern for Salt ‘n’ Light Ministries in Camp Hill, PA which is a ministry dedicated to helping youth reach other youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She has participated in drama, video and dance as mediums for ministry. Previous to that, Lisa was the project manager for a Professor of Youth Ministry at Messiah College where she developed and facilitated a large-scale survey on the effects of off-campus youth events in the lives of youth.
